Originally I thought the leak was due to the oil pan, however closer investigation showed that the leak was due to a simple oil pressure switch leak. The replacement of this oil pressure switch (some people call it “sender”) was very simple.
This video will show you how to fix the leak in an oil pressure switch. The is is a 1998 Dodge Caravan, but this works for any Dodge Caravan 1996-2000.
